I can’t exactly say the past two years have flown by, because the truth is making massive amount of cookies every week is a LOT of work, and I feel it.  Fortunately I LOVE what I do, and I have an incredible staff of baking angels who make the process smooth and possible. That being said, it has been a remarkable two years!  In honor of the occasion, we have a Birthday Cake Ice Cream Sandwich, made with my inexplicable childhood favorite form of sugar—rainbow sprinkles.

We plan to be in Williamsburg both Saturday and Sunday, so swing by and celebrate with us!

Hello, friends, it’s been awhile!

I feel like a little bear crawling out of sleepy winter hibernation, and returning to our wonderful friends, customers and East River view in Williamsburg could not be a more delightful welcoming. The Good Batch spent the winter baking away for all the sweet tooths who purchase our goods from stores around the city, and we are so excited to return to the markets.  We plan to be at Williamsburg every weekend through the season—Smorgasburg on Saturdays and the Brooklyn Flea on Sundays.  Stop by soon to say hello before Steve burrows away to study for the Bar exam!

This weekend we have a quartet of delicious ice cream sandwiches, in addition to our usual line-up of baked goodies.  Be sure to come hungry!

Saturday – Smorgasburg (Williamsburg) – LAST DAY OF THE SEASON!

Hands down, without question, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. There is nothing better than a day completely devoted to an incredible meal, family, and if you’re lucky, some football and booze.  For those of you attending a friend of family’s feast for the day, or even if you are hosting the meal, I put together a sweet little box of treats to nibble on throughout the day, or to serve as the ultimate, post-Turkey reward. It is also totally acceptable if they are gobbled off well before Thanksgiving day. I do not judge.  Either way, you should come pick one up along with a delicious piece of pumpkin cake with hot fudge and sweet bourbon cream.  I’m afraid this will be the last day of the season for this delectable treat.

This Saturday also marks the LAST DAY WE WILL BE OUTDOORS UNTIL APRIL.  We might be making an appearance at One Hanson over the winter, but just in case we don’t, we hope you can stop by the booth on Saturday to say farewell.

As a Thanksgiving closing, I have to say I am beyond grateful for our tremendously supportive and kind customers and friends.  This little baking company never would have made it this far without you.
