Hands down, without question, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. There is nothing better than a day completely devoted to an incredible meal, family, and if you’re lucky, some football and booze. For those of you attending a friend of family’s feast for the day, or even if you are hosting the meal, I put together a sweet little box of treats to nibble on throughout the day, or to serve as the ultimate, post-Turkey reward. It is also totally acceptable if they are gobbled off well before Thanksgiving day. I do not judge. Either way, you should come pick one up along with a delicious piece of pumpkin cake with hot fudge and sweet bourbon cream. I’m afraid this will be the last day of the season for this delectable treat.
This Saturday also marks the LAST DAY WE WILL BE OUTDOORS UNTIL APRIL. We might be making an appearance at One Hanson over the winter, but just in case we don’t, we hope you can stop by the booth on Saturday to say farewell.
As a Thanksgiving closing, I have to say I am beyond grateful for our tremendously supportive and kind customers and friends. This little baking company never would have made it this far without you.

Autumn is officially here–the leaves are changing, the wind is getting blustier, and we are beginning to crave warm treats. So in honor of the change, we are offering ONE LAST DAY of ice cream sandwiches along with something warm and mouth-watering. Choose a cake– chocolate or pumpkin, and we will drench it in hot fudge, and if you are feeling extra indulgent, a dollop of bourbon sweet cream. I am very excited about serving this warm dessert, and giving our ice cream season a sweet farewell!

Friends, I know it’s been awhile since you received an email from me, but I can certainly tell you it’s been a busy couple weeks in The Good Batch kitchen. We have been transitioning out of the summer swing into a fall baking groove. The beloved Bonfire is back, and we’ve cracked open the pumpkin gates. And perhaps most exciting, we are launching a new cookie in stores and online– the Brown Butter Salty. Yum yum yum.
Assuming the weather holds up, we will be in Williamsburg Saturday and Sunday with a delicious line-up of goods.
