Bakery Production Manager

The Good Batch bakery is seeking an experienced baker to manage our ice cream sandwich production. We make thousands of sandwiches per week, handcrafted from artisinal cookies, pastry fillings, housemade candies, and organic ice cream. This production manager would work with our chef and team of bakers to fulfill orders and develop new flavors. This is a full-time position, and after the summer season, this position would be integrated into the rest of our bakery operation.

Responsibilities:
– Write weekly and daily production schedules
– Manage small team of baker
– Work with chef and executive team to maintain quality and projections are being met
– Participate in production
– Contribute to new flavor brainstorming and testing

Requirements:
– Experience managing in a professional kitchen environment
– Must be able to work full-time schedule, at least one weekend day
– Reliable, punctual and friendly work demeanor
– Ability to learn quickly, take direction, and work independently
– Must provide TWO PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES
– U.S. working papers A MUST
– NY Food Handlers Certificate preferred
