Summer is Upon Us This summer has been fiercely hot and sweaty, and we have been meeting it head on! Our team of bakers and ice cream sandwich makers is working at full steam, making more cookies and sandwiches than ever before. Our market staff at Smorgasburg and Celebrate Brooklyn! are happily selling these goods to market and concert-goers alike. But not to worry, we’re still sneaking in trips to the beach and soaking up the sun! NEW FLAVORS Our latest ice cream sandwich flavor, Summer Strawberry, is an absolute must-try. We wanted to create something that evoked hot summer days, yet still be refreshing. We’ve sandwiched vanilla ice cream between two toasted coconut macaroon cookies and a healthy dollop of a tart strawberry curd. It’s chewy, sweet, tart, creamy, and naturally gluten-free. This flavor is available at the shop and Smorgasburg. Vanilla + Toffee is an old favorite we’ve brought back this summer. Two chewy toasted almond cookies sandwich a schmear of burnt sugar caramel, toffee candy, and vanilla ice cream. It’s so so good, and naturally gluten-free. SUMMER HOURS & FRENCH FRIDAYS Due to happy crowds gathering at the shop, we’ve extended our weekend hours, and added Monday to the docket! We are starting a fun new series at the bakery, French Fridays! Each week we will feature a delicious, delicate, French pastry at the shop. This week we have the most beautifully flaky hand-rolled croissants. We can’t stop admiring (and eating!) them. Be sure to check in each week to see what we’ve got!
